This course helps you develop your Personal Potential by learning about and applying Self-Actualization principles. You will be given personal mentorship and an opportunity to develop your skills with your own mentors.   You will develop your networking skills by learning how to participate in a Collaborative Information Network (CIN). At the completion of the course you will have a professional website (blog), and a plan and a strategy to reach your personal potential.  You will get a certificate of completion and CIN membership The course provides 21 hours of instruction and is delivered in the following ways:


  1. Individualized Instruction: An initial meeting (in person or via online communication) will be held to go over course expectations and individual plans to complete the course by online mentoring and instruction.
  2. Distance Learning: Mentoring, Instruction and Meetings to take place online.
  3. Classroom Instruction: In person meetings, mentoring and instruction with some online assignments.

CIN (Collaborative Information Networks) are information and resource sharing systems, that facilitates people working collaboratively using a variety of technologies.  

CIN  is more than technology it is people using technology to work together for mutual benefit and the good of society.  CIN networks involve in person as well as online dialogue.  

We offer training and services to non-profit organization without charge to develop CINs and the career and personal potential of their employees.  We now offering our training through Maximize Your Potential courses.

A Collaborative Information Network (CIN) is formed by three kindred spirits, who have common goals. They establish an ongoing dialogue by meeting together in person if possible (video and audio conferencing, where this is not possible).  This dialogue becomes the basis for setting up an online presence to carry on the dialogue and if desired invite other to join the dialogue.

CINet (developed by Collaborative Information Networks) is an  information and resource sharing system, that facilitates people working collaboratively using a variety of technologies.  The primary system that has been developed is FACTSnet .   

FACTSnet is more than technology it is people using technology to work together for mutual benefit and the good of society.  FACTSnet networks involve in person as well as online dialogue.   Development of FACTSnet itself has followed this process.  The CINet Dialogue Protocol. is being developed to facilitate this.  Although some of the system is in prototype format, most of the system is in the beta phase of development, part in beta 1.0 while beta 2.0 is being developed.  

ABOUT FACTS

FACTS (Family And Community Twining Society)  is a non-profit society based out of Spruce Grove, Alberta, whose mandate is the promotion of community networking and the facilitation of community dialogues through various forms of communication including the Internet. To further this goal, we have established a network of blogs collectively known as FACTSnet.  Numbering over a hundred, these blogs cater to specific communities, social groups, schools, and other collective communities. FACTS partners with and mutually supports other organizations such as Société de Tourisme Centralta/Centralta Tourism Society and Collaborative Information Networks.
