This course helps you develop your Career and Personal Potential by learning about and applying Self-Actualization principles and developing your “workability” skills see "Workability" Workbook (ALIS’s - Alberta careers, learning and employment information). You will be given personal coaching and an opportunity to develop your skills with your own coaches. You will also learn about safety in the workplace. You will develop your networking skills by learning how to participate in a Collaborative Information Network (CIN). Through a Discovery Report and InterACTION Guide you will gain a greater understanding in how to relate to other people. At the completion of the course you will be able to develop a website (blog), and have a networking plan and a strategy to reach your career and personal potential. You will get a certificate of completion. The course provides 30 hours of instruction and is delivered in the following ways:
- Individualized Instruction: An initial meeting (in person or via online communication) will be held to go over course expectations and individual plans to complete the course by online coaching and instruction.
- Distance Learning: Group Coaching, Instruction and Meetings to take place online.
- Classroom Instruction: In person meetings, coaching and instruction with some online assignments.
Cost: A Tuition of $ 900.00 is required for any of the delivery methods mentioned above.
Cost for Course Materials is $50
If you are employed or will be employed in Canada your employer can apply to the Canada Job Grant Program for funding to take the course.
